Welcome to the Macdonald High School Resource Department website!
Macdonald High School prides itself in fostering the notion that students with additional and special needs deserve the same quality of education as any other student. Indeed, Macdonald High School provides a variety of services in order to facilitate learning for its students and to cultivate a dynamic and positive high school experience. Our in-school team is comprised of dedicated resource teachers, a special education technician, integration aides, and a planning room technician. In addition, Macdonald High School's resource department works in tandem with the following related services: an autism spectrum disorder consultant, the school psychologist, an occupational therapist, a spiritual animator, a special needs consultant, a speech and language therapist, and a social worker. Our school is a "Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)" school. We have been able to support many students with Google Read & Write. Click the link and have a look. Further, Macdonald High School provides a wide range of in-school programs providing support to its students and offering optional career paths.
